Positions

Multiple co-PI, biologist, postdoctoral fellow positions are available in our lab. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues to investigate the molecular foundation of cardiovascular lineage commitment from pluripotent stem cells, with an ultimate goal to manipulate cardiovascular cell fates based on those uncovered principles in development and diseases.

Requirements:

Co-PI:

A co-PI with outstanding skills in cell biology and molecular biology is being sought to serve as a technical and intellectual leader in our group, and to contribute to mentoring and collaborating with postdoctoral fellows, graduates, and other laboratory staff and trainees. The successful candidate will have a relevant doctoral degree, postdoctoral research fellowship experience, and internationally recognized publication record. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Postdoctoral Fellow:

Recent Ph.D., M.D., or comparable doctoral degree at the time of the appointment.

Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Able to prepare manuscript and present research findings to a wider audience.

Work collaboratively

Biologist:

The successful candidates will have a degree in either biology or medicine. Previous experience in cell biology would be advantageous. A good knowledge in molecular biology is considered a plus. In this position you will be fully integrated in specific scientific projects in the laboratory but also you will be part of a team who is responsible for general technical support. This position offers the great opportunity to apply your skills for a better understanding of genetics, genomics and precision medicine.

Salary and benefits of all positions are commensurable with experience and skills and follow the standards of the State Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Disease and Fuwai hospital.
